A glimpse into my practice.
My process is akin to automatic drawing, where there is no preconceived theme or draft before I begin. Only after the piece is finished do I know what I’ve made.
I draw and paint visceral landscapes that thematically explore stored memory in the body, the embodied unconscious, and where sensuality converges with the natural world.
Below is the body of work I’ve made in the last two years. I began creating stippling illustrations in 2024 after finishing grad school. During my residency at La Porte Peinte in the spring of 2025, I ventured into painting with acrylic and water, staying mostly within black & white. Later that summer, I moved into my own studio and ventured into oil painting with color.
This page is updated at least once a month, with progress on my work—finished and unfinished.
